Program Description:
This workshop introduces each participant to their uniquely holistic Sense of Humor. Actress/Comedienne/Coach Melanie Chartoff utilizes improvisational and acting exercises to access the "objective witness" within - that humorous point of view which is essential for a healthy psycho-spiritual outlook in challenging times.


Location and Parking Instructions:  The Regent, 10501 Wilshire Blvd. at Warner (just 2 blocks west of Beverly Glen), Los Angeles, CA 90024, 6th floor Promenade room, which is to your right off the elevator, across from the pool.  Entrance to parking is on Warner.  Participants should say to the valet: "Guests of Keith Lehrer."   $1 tip to the valet upon leaving is recommended.


Fee:  $20.  The fee enables us to meet our costs while capping enrollment at 18.  FREE PARKING, but $1 tip to the valet upon leaving is recommended.

Presenter(s):  Melanie Chartoff - A veteran of over thirty years as a performer in all media, from Broadway to TV ("Seinfeld," "Desperate Housewives," "Parker Lewis Can't Lose," "Touched by an Angel,") Melanie has taught these play therapy techniques to "children of all ages" for many purposes in many cities.  (See chartoffteaching.com.)  Participants report increased confidence, improved communication, spontaneity, and creative inspiration in their work and personal lives, and all laugh while learning in a safe, supportive and silly atmosphere. Refund Policy: In order to keep our programs affordable yet self-sustaining, we regret that we are unable to offer refunds on enrollment fees unless we are responsible for the error. Reservation Policy: Reservations can be made for free events. Individuals who have made reservations and who have arrived 15 minutes before the event will be admitted first. After that time, everyone will have an equal opportunity for admission.

Wait List Policy: Based on past experience, we expect that a certain number of registrants will not be able to attend events. If registration for an event is full, joining the wait list will give you a higher priority for admittance at the door. If additional space for an event becomes available, individuals on the wait list will be notified via email and given the opportunity to enroll in the event before the additional spaces are advertised to the general public.
